Haryana STET 2011 Schedule | Prospectus Available From 2nd August, 2011

Haryana Board of School Education, Bhiwani has issued the schedule for the forthcoming STET (HTET) 2011 Examination. STET- 2011 examination will be held on 24 and 25 September, 2011.

Examination Pattern: In STET- 2011 examination there will be only one paper having 150 questions. The STET- 2011 Examination time will be 1½ hours.

Examination Schedule:

1. STET 2011 for JBTs & Master: 24 September, 2011
2. STET 2011 for Lecturers: 25 September, 2011

Availability of Examination Form/Prospectus: STET 2011 Examination Form/Prospectus can be obtained from Board of School Education, Bhiwani and Registred Book Sellers from 2^nd August, 2011 onward by paying Rs. 600 in cash for General candidates and Rs. 300/- for other candidates.

Examination Format: Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) asked States to change the Teacher Eligibility Test format and established the equal standard for all States. According to the new format

1. There will be no negative marking in STET- 2011 Examination.
2. Candidates need 60% marks to qualify STET 2011 Examination.
3. Those candidates who has qualified the STET examination no need to qualify Central or Other state Teacher Eligibility Test because Central Govt. has considered STET equal to CTET.
